MOI celebrates World Children's Day at Expo 2020

The Ministry of Interior, represented by the Ministry of Interior Child Protection Center, organized extensive activities on the occasion of the International Children’s Day, which falls on November 20, at Expo 2020, in cooperation with the Ministry of Education, the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, and the participation of police leaders in the country, civil defense and national ambulance The Solidarity Fund for Employees of the Ministry of Interior "Fazaa" and the Khalifa Empowerment Program "Aqdar".
The opening was attended by Major General Dr. Jassim Al Marzouqi, Commander-General of Civil Defense at the Ministry of Interior. In the opening speech, he said that the United Arab Emirates celebrates the International Children's Day to affirm its full commitment to empowering and protecting children, raising the future generation and preparing it to follow the sustainable development process that all countries are witnessing.
The events held at the Expo Center for Sports, Fitness and Wellness included a lecture by the Emirati Child Parliament, a program of safety ambassadors, interactive competitions for children, training sessions on first aid for children by the National Ambulance, various art competitions, a section on civil defense and traffic coordination, the village of the Office of Respecting the Culture of Law, and other various educational activities In which all police leaders in the country and many relevant departments in the Ministry of Interior participated.
