The Ministry of the Interior Center for Child Protection, in collaboration with the College of Mass Communication at Umm Al Quwain University, organized a community awareness lecture titled "Our Children are a Trust" in Sharjah, hosted by the Al Khalidiya Suburb Council. The lecture focused on the vital role of families in supervising and safeguarding children, along with reporting mechanisms for accidents they might encounter. This event was part of the "Together for a Safe Summer" campaign, launched by the Center to reinforce efforts in providing necessary protection for children and raising community awareness about continuous monitoring.
During the lecture, First Lieutenant Hamdan Al-Amiri from the Ministry of Interior's Center for Child Protection highlighted the significance of providing support and intensifying efforts through advice and educational guidance for the public.
