The Ministry of Interior Child Protection Center launches the (Safe School Year Initiative)

The Ministry of Interior represented by the Ministry of Interior Child Protection Center, in cooperation with the concerned entities, launched the "Safe School Year" initiative, which aims to intensify efforts and contribute to taking all necessary preventive measures and enhance public safety and community protection for children with the start of the school year.

The initiative includes awareness lectures and workshops targeting students, parents and educational supervisors in the areas of child protection and prevention of bullying and exploitation, introducing the Child Rights Law, as well as introducing means of communication to report abuse through the smart reporting system provided by the Ministry of Interior, including the hotline on the number 116111, and the Hemayati application for devices Smart, electronic reporting via the Ministry of Interior Child Protection Center website.

The initiative includes several themes, including confronting the risks and negative phenomena that the child may be exposed to, and means of traffic awareness, in addition to the topics of bullying, electronic security, safety ambassadors and protecting children through the Internet.  This initiative continues with the continuation of the school year.
