The Ministry of Interior Child Protection Center organizes the World Safer Internet Day event

The Ministry of Interior Child Protection Center organized the World Safer Internet Day event, on Thursday, February 9, at the Ministry of Interior building.
A number of male and female students of the second cycle of public schools participated in the event, in coordination with the Ministry of Education. The event included several awareness lectures presented by the Child Protection Center with the aim of enhancing prevention and protection and introducing the safe use of the Internet. The smart system for child protection was also introduced, including the Himayati application, the hotline and electronic reporting system, and how to communicate with the Ministry of Interior Child Protection Center.
The Khalifa Empowerment Program (Aqdar) was participated in an awareness lecture on safe electronic shopping, and a number of child protection specialists partners were participated in providing awareness lectures.
In conclusion, the partners were honored and gifts were distributed to the students, as they expressed how happy they were to participate.
The event is part of a series of educational and awareness-raising activities organized by the sectors of the Ministry of Interior on the occasion of the International Safer Internet Day. The activities will continue until the end of February 2023.
