The Ministry of Interior Child Protection Center participates in the activities of the Jiu-Jitsu Challenge Festival in Abu Dhabi Arena

The Ministry of Interior Child Protection Centre and the Public Relations Department of the Ministry of Interior participated in the activities of the second edition of the Jiu-Jitsu Challenge Festival, organized by the UAE Jiu-Jitsu Federation, on Saturday, Sunday, May 27 and 28, 2023, at the Mubadala Arena in Zayed Sports City in Abu Dhabi.

The challenge tournament is dedicated to the categories of buds, cubs (Ashbal) and juniors, for ages from 4 to 13 years, with the participation of 2,500 male and female players.

During the two days, the Ministry of Interior Child Protection Centre (MoI-CPC)  facilitated awareness-raising and drawing activities and for children. The role of the MoI-CPC was introduced; an explanation was given about the Child Rights Law (Wadeema), and an introduction of the SMART system for communication, including the hotline and Hemayati application for smart devices.

Approximately 350 children and their families benefited by participating in the activities through a dedicated platform for the Ministry of Interior in the main Arena hall for the public.

The children, including players and audiences, participated greatly in the activities presented by the MoI-CPC, including a question and answer session, sports activities, focus games, and a freestyle drawing. Gifts were distributed to all participating children, and prizes were given to the winners.
