The Ministry of Interior Child Protection Center participates in the dialogue session "Education in the Digital Age"

The Ministry of Interior Child Protection Center participates in the dialogue session "Education in the Digital Age" within the "Know Your Rights" program organized by the General Women's Union at Fazaa pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai.

The dialogue session was inaugurated by Colonel Dr. Ibrahim Humaid Al-Mayahi, Director of the Digital Security Department at the Ministry of Interior, which included two main themes. The first theme, entitled "The technological and digital environment and its impact on raising children", was viewed by Dr. Obaid Saleh Al-Makhten, an expert in information technology and cybercrime. The second theme was presented by Ms. Fatima Al-Rashidi, the head of the Prevention, Awareness and Guidance section at the Ministry of Interior Child Protection Center, entitled the role of the family in raising and protecting children in light of the tremendous development in technology, and talked about the risks of the Internet and the role of family control, and how to confront exploitation of children via the Internet, and urged children not to sharing personal information through social networking sites, and introducing the smart system to protect the child, including the hotline phone number 116111 for receiving call reports, and the "Hemayati" application for smart devices.
