The Ministry of the Interior organizes a celebration of the Emirati Child's Day at the Sheikh Zayed Festival

The Ministry of the Interior, represented by the Child Protection Center, in cooperation with a number of partners, celebrated the Emirati Child's Day, by organizing extensive activities within Sheikh Zayed Festival in Al Wathba Abu Dhabi - Children's Theatre.

The ceremony was attended by Brigadier General Sultan Buataba Al Zaabi, Director General of Community Protection and Crime Prevention at the Ministry of Interior, representatives of partners from the public and private sectors, and a number of ministry officers.

In his opening speech, Brigadier General Sultan Al Zaabi said, “The United Arab Emirates, with the vision of its wise leadership, has endeavored to enhance its civilization achievements and its prestigious reputation globally, and to extend the means of a decent life for the Emirati society and ensure its security safety and stability.”

The ceremony began with the national anthem presented by the police band, then patriotic poems presented by a number of children, a paragraph from the Emirati Child Parliament, a paragraph for safety ambassadors from Dubai Police, a paragraph for children playing the piano from the Dubai Autism Center, and competitions and educational activities.

On the sidelines of the event, a number of activities were organized by  Khalifa Empowerment Programme,   Community Security Magazine (999),  Abu Dhabi Defense Authority, the Emirates Red Crescent,   Abu Dhabi Police,  Hayat Association for Aftercare, and  Abu Dhabi Shelter and Aftercare Center "Ewaa". In conclusion, the partners were honored, and prizes were distributed to the participating children.
